Terms and conditions
Welcome to David Chaudoir Hypnotherapy. These terms and conditions outline the agreement between you (the “Client”) and David Chaudoir (the “Hypnotherapist”) for the provision of hypnotherapy services. By booking and attending sessions, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Services Provided
David Chaudoir provides one-to-one hypnotherapy sessions, both in-person at our Bath location and remotely via online video conferencing (Google Meet or Zoom). Our services are designed to help clients manage challenges such as anxiety, IBS, weight management, phobias, pain relief, and smoking cessation.
2. Client Responsibility
You agree to provide accurate and complete information regarding your medical history, current health, and any prescribed medications. It is your responsibility to inform the Hypnotherapist of any changes to your health or medication during the course of your treatment. You understand that the success of hypnotherapy can vary and depends, in part, on your commitment and active participation in the process.
3. Confidentiality
All sessions and client information are treated with the strictest confidence. No information will be disclosed to third parties without your explicit written consent, except where required by law (e.g., if there is a risk of serious harm to yourself or others).
4. Session Fees and Payments
Fees for hypnotherapy sessions will be discussed and agreed upon prior to your first appointment. Payment is typically required in advance or at the time of the session. We accept bank transfer, Stripe payments and debit card. Details regarding session packages or programmes will be provided separately.
5. Cancellations and Rescheduling
We kindly request a minimum of 48 hours notice for any cancellation or rescheduling of appointments. If notice is not provided within this timeframe, or if you fail to attend a scheduled session, the full session fee may be charged. We understand that emergencies can occur, and we will consider such situations on a case-by-case basis.
6. Online Sessions
For online sessions conducted via Google Meet, it is your responsibility to ensure you have a stable internet connection and a private, comfortable, and undisturbed environment for the duration of your session. We are not responsible for technical issues arising from your equipment or internet service.
7. Disclaimer
While hypnotherapy is a highly effective tool for many, individual results may vary. We cannot guarantee specific outcomes or cures. The Hypnotherapist provides professional guidance and support, but ultimately, your progress depends on your engagement with the therapeutic process.
8. Professional Conduct
David Chaudoir adheres to the ethical guidelines and professional standards of the Jacquin Hypnosis Academy. We are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and non-judgmental therapeutic environment.
9. Complaints Procedure
If you have any concerns or complaints regarding the services you have received, please contact David Chaudoir directly to resolve the issue informally in the first instance.
10. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
